Yoga is a 5000 year old healing system of theory
and practice which combines breathing Carly headstandexercises, physical postures, relaxation and meditation.  It has been proven to prevent specific diseases and maladies by keeping our life energy (prana) flowing.  Yoga is a safe practice to manage health challenges, reduce symptoms, increase vitality, calm the nervous system and balance the body, mind and spirit.  Come and experience a supportive, rejuvenating yoga class for yourself!

The focus of yoga is in HOW you go, not how FAR you go. it is a process of consciously connecting breath-body-mind while exploring the development of strength, flexibility, and balance as part of a long-term sustainable practice of integration. In yoga, perhaps more than any other physical activity or discipline, change comes slowly, often over years, as sustained practice undoes habits cultivated over a lifetime.

Journey through the Chakras

What are Chakras and why do I need to know?

This on-going 7-week progressive series will be a journey through the Chakra system, seven energy centres (vortices) within the body/being that have different characteristics dependent on their location. The Chakras relate to your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health and when they become blocked or stagnant from their flow, illness and
disease will manifest. Each class will provide valuable insight into a single Chakra at a time, what you need to know about it and how moving your physical body through Yoga can restore balance, resulting in a happier, healthier you!

Chakras are commonly used in holistic therapies such as Yoga and Ayurveda to effectively diagnose the root of a condition. If you are in search of healing, transformation and empowerment, this class is for you!

What was once an Introductory workshop has now been expanded into a 6 week, in-depth therapeutic series specifically designed to bring you greater ease and empowerment. Learn how to find relief from stress and anxiety with the wisdom of Yoga in a small group setting. This fun and informative class will help you to understand the root cause of your anxiety and eradicate it from the source in order to experience lasting results. You will get out of your head and into your body with therapeutic yoga postures, pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditations that are specifically used to treat anxiety. This series will provide an abundance of hands on experience and practice so that upon completion you will have developed the momentum and confidence to integrate it into your daily life without a fuss. A great way to get back into your self-care routine or develop one for the first time!
