Pay it Forward Project

The “Pay it Forward Project” is currently restructuring!

For the past two years, Community Acupuncturists at Heart & Hands have dedicated their skills, energy and compassion to serve the marginalized client-base at AIDS Vancouver Island (AVI) and we have presently be offered the opportunity to receive funding for our efforts! For the background behind what we do at AVI, read “Strength in Numbers”.

We are currently accepting monetary donations to continue improvements in the back of the clinic (maybe a community garden space or in- house laundry…) AND for a project in the next year to start breaking ground into creating our OWN non-profit to further decrease socio-economic barriers to those less fortunate in our community…stay tuned…

In the spirit of karma, this is a social experiment to collect as many small contributions of kindness and in turn, transform it into abundance. We hope to share that abundance with others who are less fortunate, but just as deserving. There is honour not necessarily in the amount donated, but the intention of generosity put forth in every cent.

We will be hosting a monthly prize draw: donors of $5 or more will be entered in a draw for a 2 session acupuncture punch card (valued at ~$50). The prize will be drawn on the last day of each month. We’re starting our first monthly draw for March, visit our office to enter!
